OSHKOSH, Wis. — One of the driving forces behind the “Celebration of Lights” in Oshkosh has died.
Leon Thompson passed away on Sunday at the age of 78.
Thompson served as vice president and president of the Celebration of Lights Committee. He also served as a “Santa” as part of the display for several years and joined Hayley Tenpas on Focus Fox Valley‘s annual “Santa Hour.”
