GREEN BAY, Wis. — Bond is set at $750,000 cash for a suspect in an alleged shooting death along Highway 172 in Ashwaubenon.
No criminal charges have been filed yet against Ji-Gwe-Mko Layton, who was taken into custody following a crash along 172 at the Interstate 41 interchange Friday afternoon.
Layton was seen running from the vehicle with a gun, and the body of a 60-year-old Wood County man was found inside.
Investigators say Layton shot the victim while he was driving, causing the crash.
