MANITOWOC, Wis. — A Two Rivers woman is accused of leaving three toddlers in her car while she had her nails done.
Hannah Sprang is charged in Manitowoc County Court with three counts of child neglect.
According to the criminal complaint, Sprang had the two 1-year-olds and a 2-year-old left in her care in her vehicle while she was getting her nails done back on July 18.
Sprang initially told police that she went out to check on the children often during her two-and-a-half-hour appointment. Police say they reviewed security tapes from the nail salon and found Sprang had only gone out to the car once.
Thanks to it being a cooler day, the temperature in the vehicle was only in the lower 80’s.
Sprang faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
