APPLETON, Wis. — An Appleton woman is found guilty of stabbing her fiance to death. An Outagamie County jury returns the verdict against Samantha Krebs on one count of first-degree intentional homicide in the death of Joey Carnot in July of 2024.
Krebs reportedly told police Carnot had stabbed himself to commit suicide, but assistant district attorney Nicholas Grode pointed out to the jury during closing arguments that Carnot had texted a friend asking for clean urine to pass a drug test moments before he died………..
Krebs now faces life in prison.
