GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Green Bay Area Public School District reports an altercation involving multiple students at Preble High School.
The fight took place on Monday, which is when new security measures took effect at middle and high schools in the district.
Students are now allowed only to have clear backpacks and bags on campus following the discovery of a handgun in a Preble student’s backpack, which occurred after another disturbance earlier this month.
School officials say the incident involved three students who had been involved in a verbal dispute in a commons area.
