APPLETON, Wis. — Fewer Appleton Area School District high schoolers are failing their classes.
Assistant superintendent Michael Hernandez says they have gone from having 17 percent of kids fail at least one class to 10 percent in three years……………..
Hernandez adds that has boosted grade point averages as well…………….
The greatest declines in the failure rates were seen in students of color across the district.
