TOWN OF WOODVILLE, Wis. — A Calumet County man is in custody in connection with a shooting death.
Sheriff’s deputies were called to a home in the town of Woodville around 1 p.m. Friday for a report of a disturbance resulting in a man being shot.
Deputies arrived to find a 56-year-old man unresponsive with a gunshot wound. Despite life-saving measures, the victim died from his injuries.
A 22-year-old man at the scene was arrested on a charge of first-degree intentional homicide.
