JUNEAU, Wis. — An Elba woman will spend a month in jail for starving a dog to death.
Tashina Dettloff is also sentenced in Dodge County Court to two years on probation for mistreatment of an animal causing death.
Dettloff and her husband, James, were charged after sheriff’s deputies found a severely-emaciated poodle at their home back in February. The dog died a short time later.
James Dettloff is already serving a six-month jail sentence.
