HILBERT, Wis. — The Calumet County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting incident.
Deputies were called to the Hilbert Acres Mobile Home Community around 9 p.m. on Christmas to find a 25-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the head.
She was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A man was interviewed and has been released. He is cooperating with the investigation.
Investigators believe there is no danger to the public at this time.
