GREENVILLE, Wis. — No one is hurt following a gas leak at a Greenville assisted living facility.
Crews were called to Living Tree Estates around 4:45 a.m. Saturday on the report of a carbon monoxide alarm and an unknown odor in the building.
Residents were moved to an unaffected side of the facility while firefighters worked to find the source of the leak.
It was discovered that a furnace vent pipe was iced-over, leading to very high levels of CO.
The leak was eventually contained.
