MENASHA, Wis. — Menasha’s top cop is stepping down.
Police chief Nick Thorn announces his resignation effective March 2.
Thorn cites the increasing demands of the position and a desire to ensure a proper level of attention and leadership for his family and the city as reasons for the decision.
He has been with Menasha police for 17 years, serving as chief since 2023.
The city will announce details on the selection process for a new chief at a later date.
