APPLETON, Wis. — This summer’s Appleton Flag Day Parade will follow a much shorter route. Organizers say this year’s edition of the parade will only travel along College Avenue from State Street to Drew Street. Units will stage on State Street south of College.
That is the same route as the city’s Christmas Parade. Officials say the new, shorter route will make it easier to provide security.
This year’s Appleton Flag Day Parade is scheduled for Saturday, June 13.
