BELLEVUE, Wis. — One person is dead — another is hurt — following a house fire in Bellevue.
Crews were called to the home in the 100 block of Scarlet Lane around 8:30 a.m. Sunday to find flames in the living area.
One person escaped on their own, while another was brought out by firefighters. That individual was pronounced dead at the scene. The other person was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
