UPDATED 3/26 3:40 pm–An Appleton woman reported as missing this week is found dead. Marueen Van Elzen was last seen leaving her home on Monday in her vehicle.
Where she was found today has not been released. Appleton Police have not said if they suspect foul play in Van Elzen’s death.

APPLETON, Wis. — An Appleton woman is reported as missing.
Police say Maureen Van Elzen was last seen leaving her residence around 10 a.m. Monday.
Van Elzen was driving a dark purple 2009 Toyota Scion with Wisconsin license plate AVA6137.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts should contact Appleton police.
