FOX CROSSING, Wis. — Fox Crossing police use force to stop a dog attack.
Officers were called to Fritsch Park around 11:30 a.m. Saturday on the report of a dog with a history of aggressive behavior that was at large.
Upon arrival, the dog was seen attacking another dog, with the victim’s owner trying to separate them.
An officer fired at and struck the attacking dog.
The animal was taken to a medical facility for treatment.
The incident remains under investigation.
