OSHKOSH, Wis. — The city of Oshkosh is looking to shut down its public access TV and radio stations.
Those who produce shows for Life TV and WOCT FM were informed via an email last week that those production facilities were being shut down by May 15 to make room at City Hall for the new Department of Communications and Engagement.
That does not sit well with Friends of Oshkosh Community Media President Russ Potratz…………………….
New communications director Drew Bailey says he is willing to work with show hosts to find new broadcast platforms……………
The city of Oshkosh would continue to produce Gov TV, which provides live coverage of local government meetings.
