GRAND CHUTE, Wis. — Grand Chute police have a man in custody following accusations he tried to touch women at stores.
An initial complaint came from a 17-year-old girl who said the 27-year-old Siren man followed her closely at a store in the 4300 block of W. Wisconsin Avenue on March 1 before trying to touch her as she left the building. She was able to get away unharmed.
On Sunday, police were alerted that the suspect was in another store on W. Wisconsin Avenue, where he was taken into custody. Police say the man is on probation for child enticement.
Anyone else who was accosted by the suspect should contact Grand Chute police. Criminal charges are pending.
