CHICAGO — Longtime agricultural reporter Orion Samuelson has died. Samuelson was best known for hosting ag programming on Chicago radio station WGN from 1960 to 2020. Before that, he was a reporter here at WHBY in Appleton in the 1950s.
Samuelson was a native of Ontario, Wisconsin, and also had a stint as a reporter for our TV news partner WBAY. Samuelson was 91 years old.
