GRAND CHUTE, Wis. — Two people are in custody in connection with a reckless driving incident in Grand Chute.
An officer reportedly witnessed a vehicle being driven recklessly in the 3700 block of W. College Avenue around 12:30 Saturday morning.
The car sped off and was later found abandoned in the yard of a home on South Timmers Lane.
Officers saw the driver, an 18-year-old Manawa man, and the 19-year-old Mosinee man riding with him running away.
One of the men quickly surrendered to law enforcement, while the other continued to run. With the help of a K‑9 unit from a neighboring agency, the second man was later found hiding in a dumpster of a business in the 3600 block of W. Prospect Ave
Criminal charges are pending.
