(MENASHA) — Menasha Joint School District officials are excited about the approval of a funding referendum.
A majority of voters said “yes” on Tuesday to allowing the district to exceed the state-mandated revenue cap by six-million dollars in each of the next six years for operations.
Superintendent Matt Zimmerman says the funding will help prevent a negative trend from continuing.
Zimmerman says the funding will help keep the current level of programming going.
Menasha’s referendum did not receive overwhelming support–as it passed by only 252-votes.
