(WINCHESTER, WI) — The chief of the Winchester Fire Department has died.
Glen Mathison passed away on Tuesday. Mathison served with the Winchester and Clayton fire departments for thirty years.
The Winchester Fire Department’s Facebook page says: “Glen was very proud carrying on the family tradition of serving his community like his father, the late Chief Dean Mathison, and his brother, the late Captain Scott Mathison. Glen served the Town of Winchester and Town of Clayton faithfully for 30 years. Glen was a pillar in the community.
Glen meant so much to each and everyone of us. There are not enough words to describe how much he is going to be missed.”
He was 48-years old.
