OSHKOSH, Wis–The Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys is throwing its support behind the appeal of an Oshkosh man whose power boat struck a paddle-wheeler on the Fox River. Jason Lindemann is appealing his conviction on charges of Second Degree Reckless Endangerment in Winnebago County Court.
Lindemann collided with the On The Loos Cruise ship on the river in July of 2022 and then fled the scene. The WACDA has filed a letter of support, stating the case should have been moved out of Winnebago County due to pre-trial publicity.
Lindemann served five months in jail and remains on probation. No court hearings are set in his appeal.
