I’ll be real with you– this isn’t the kind of movie that I would see if I weren’t involved in this podcast.
My best way to describe this movie is what if Ted Lasso went to space. It’s a testament to the human spirit. Everyone loves this movie. I like this movie.
It’s got action. It’s got laughs. It’s got mystery and suspense. It’s hit you in the feels once or twice. It’ll even make you think about what you would do if you asked to make the same sacrifices as the characters in the movie.
It’s staring Ryan Gosling, and you watch him interact with his new extra-terrestrial friend for about 90% of the movie.
In my humble opinion, it wasn’t a masterclass in acting, but it will keep you entertained.
The main draw here, is the story and the visuals.
It’s a unique story and the BEST part– No green screen. No blue screen.
Practical effects. The Best kind of effects.
You don’t want to miss this one.
