WEYAUWEGA, Wis. — One person is dead following a wrong-way crash in Weyauwega.
The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office says a car heading eastbound in the westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 10 collided with a semi around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday near Old Highway 94.
The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. The semi driver was not hurt.
Investigators believe alcohol was a factor in that crash.
While Highway 10 was closed in that area, another driver went around the barricades. That person was arrested for reckless endangerment and driving with a revoked license.
