WAUPACA, Wis. — A New London kindergarten teacher who used drugs on school property reaches a deferred prosecution deal.
If Laurie Laubenstein stays out of further legal trouble for a year, a charge of possession of cocaine on school grounds will be dismissed.
Laubenstein was arrested back in February following a tip from another school employee about her drug use.
She resigned her teaching position following her arrest.
