SHAWANO, Wis. — One person is dead following a Shawano house fire.
Crews were called to the home along the 200 block of E. Center Street shortly before 7 p.m. Wednesday to find smoke coming from the building.
A person was found inside. They were pronounced dead at the hospital a short time later.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
