KIMBERLY, Wis–The Kimberly School District says it has looked into a social media post claiming an underclassman at the district high school was kidnapped by upperclassmen and abandoned in a field. A post in a Kimberly parents Facebook group says the freshman was grabbed by seniors last (Thursday) night, thrown in the trunk of a vehicle, and then left in a farm field.
On Thursday night, Kimberly High students took part in an unsanctioned “Fugitive Game”. The district has released a statement saying it does not condone the game nor the activities alleged in the Facebook post.
They also encourage parents to supervise their children. The release claims the district is investigating to see if the incident actually happened.
