GREENVILLE, Wis. — The Greenville Village Board approves a moratorium on data center construction projects.
The one-year moratorium allows staff to conduct more research on the centers and draft regulations that are in line with other municipalities.
Village Trustee Dean Culbertson says a data center could not run properly if one were to be built right now……….
While several Greenville residents have expressed opposition to data centers, Village Administrator Travis Parish says banning them is not an option……….
Greenville has not received any data center proposals as of now.
