OSHKOSH, Wis. — One person is arrested by Oshkosh police in connection with a Saturday afternoon shooting.
Police were dispatched to a weapons call in the 1100 block of Cherry Street around 4:20 p.m. Officers were told that a person had fired a gun at a residence in the area.
A suspect vehicle was identified, and a high-risk traffic stop was made with help from the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office. A suspect was taken into custody.
Police say no other suspects are being sought. No one was injured at the shooting scene.
The investigation into the incident continues.
