(TOWN OF POYGAN, WI) — A Town of Poygan man is killed in a motorcycle crash Monday afternoon.
The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash along County Road D near Town Hall Road in the Town of Poygan around 2:41 PM. An overturned motorcycle was found in a field northwest of the intersection.
An initial investigation determined the motorcycle was heading West on County Road D when the 77-year-old driver failed to negotiate a turn and lost control. The motorcycle came to rest on top of the man, who was found unresponsive.
The victim’s name has not been released.
