OSHKOSH, Wis. — EAA AirVenture 2026 is in the books.
EAA CEO and Chairman Jack Pelton say initial signs point to another record year.
While those initial figures are encouraging, Pelton says AirVenture is not about the numbers.
EAA is already looking to AirVenture 2027. Pelton say they’ll have a special emphasis on young aviators and aviator wannabes.
AirVenture 2026 featured the British Royal Air Force Red Arrows precision flying team. While visitors were awed by the team’s execution of aerobatic maneuvers like the “Concord into Eagle Loop” and the “Tornado into Diamond,” Pelton says the Red Arrows were awed by AirVenture.
For AirVenture 2027, Pelton says the plan is to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Charles Lindberg’s solo trans-Atlantic flight from New York to Paris.
