(MENASHA,WI) — A former Menasha Police officer that used the Flock Traffic Camera system to track his ex-girlfriend will spend six months in jail.
Cristian Morales is also sentenced in Outagamie County Court to three years on probation for Misconduct in a Public Office. Morales accessed license plate reader cameras in Appleton to follow his ex-girlfriend’s movements in October of last year.
Prior to sentencing, Judge Mark Schroeder said Morales broke the trust Menasha residents placed in him.
Prior to sentencing, Morale voice regret and took responsibility for his actions. As part of the sentence, Morales is now barred from employment in law enforcement and from use of Flock cameras.
