The Fond du Lac Humane Society says someone left a bucket of kittens outside the shelter.
Workers posted a picture on Facebook, and reported the kittens were sick, covered in fleas, and found panting because they were overheating.
Staffers believe they were left there between 8 p.m. Sunday, and 7 a.m. Monday.
