The state set a new single-day record for the most confirmed coronavirus cases.
There are 738 more cases, topping the previous high mark of 733 on May 29th. The state has had 31,055 confirmed cases.
The state is reporting 10.8 percent of tests came back positive today. That’s the highest total since 12.5 percent were positive on May 3rd.
There are 5,763 active cases in Wisconsin, and that’s 290 more than yesterday. It’s the eighth straight day the number has gone up.
Hospitals are treating 235 patients, and that’s nine fewer than yesterday. Another 129 others are waiting for test results.
There have been 796 confirmed deaths, and that’s the same total as yesterday.
Brown County has 29 new cases. Outagamie added 16, Winnebago nine, and Waupaca six.
Calumet, Fond du Lac, and Manitowoc all have four more. Shawano and Green Lake each have two more.
Kewaunee and Oconto both have one new case.
