With the state Department of Public Instruction leaving it up to local districts, Wisconsin could see a hodge-podge of school reopening plans this fall.
Policy Advisor Jennifer Kammerud says every school could face a different scenario. Kammerud adds that parents still retain the right to keep their kids home. The DPI is encouraging districts to conduct as much in-person instruction as possible, believing that is most beneficial for kids.
