The head of the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department isn’t in favor of a mandatory mask policy.
Sheriff John Matz thinks businesses are doing a great job of creating an environment for social distancing. He believes it would be an “impossible feat” to be able to enforce a requirement.
Matz says people are doing a good job of policing themselves.
