Governor Evers plans to have nine members on a commission that will redraw the state’s political boundaries.
People can start applying, and three retired judges will appoint everyone. One of the judges is former Outagamie County Judge Joseph Troy.
Evers says that will make it a nonpartisan group.
Majority Republicans in the Legislature would be in charge of the redistricting process next year. Evers wants them to use the commission’s map.
