Governor Evers says he’s optimistic schools will be able to open in the fall.
He points out local school districts are making decisions on how to open, and parents should reach out to their districts for details.
Evers says after the state Supreme Court decision in May, he’s not sure if he can order schools to close, if the pandemic gets completely out of control.
He says if people really want schools to open safely in the fall, everyone needs to do their part now to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
