A survey of high school students in the Fox Cities area shows about 15 percent faced cyberbullying last year.
Rachel Podoski of the United Way Fox Cities says 30 percent of LGBT students say they were cyberbullied. Twenty-two percent of students identifying as multiple race were victims.
She says overall cyberbullying rates have stayed flat in recent years, even though social media use has climbed.
Twenty percent reported being bullied at school. That’s compared to 22 percent statewide.
