Vice President Mike Pence visited the city that’s known as the “Birthplace of the Republican Party” on a campaign stop today.
He spoke at Ripon College in a closed-door event, and contrasted the beliefs of President Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden.
The president of Ripon College tried to distance the school from the campaign event. He told the campus community that they were approached about renting a room for a speech by Pence.
Pence flew in and out of Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh on Air Force Two.
