A top health official in Wisconsin says COVID-19 is spreading more now, than when the state shut down businesses and schools and asked people to stay at home.
Division of Public Health Interim Administrator Stephanie Smiley says people were limiting their contacts early on during the pandemic. She says it was typically around three to five contact, but now tracers are hearing upwards of 15 to 20.
Smiley is calling on people to wear masks and avoid gatherings to prevent the spread.
