The Brown County Sheriff’s Office has a suspect in custody in connection with an alleged contractor scam. Mico Miller of Texas is accused of intimidating elderly homeowners in northeast Wisconsin into hiring him for asphalt sealing projects he never completes. The scam was targeting elderly homeowners in Brown and Winnebago Counties. Investigators say Miller self-identifies as the “Asphalt Gypsy”. He was traveling with a 12-year old. Criminal charges are pending.
