More than four years after a mother and daughter were killed in Hobart, the suspect is on trial in Brown County.
Jacob Cayer is charged with the murders of his ex-girlfriend Sabrina Teague and her mother, Sunny Teague, at their home. Sabrina’s boyfriend, Jay Kennedy, was also stabbed and he survived.
District Attorney David Lasee put Kennedy on the witness stand yesterday, and Kennedy said there’s no doubt Cayer was the person who stabbed him.
Lasee says Cayer turned the Teague house into a “real-life horror movie” in June of 2016. Questions about whether Cayer was competent to stand trial led to several delays in the case.
