A group that typically holds a cookout every year is putting on a virtual block party instead.
The Celebrate Diversity Fox Cities event will be streamed on the organization’s Facebook page.
Co-Chair E. Ben Grisby thinks a pandemic shouldn’t hold them back from showing diversity and inclusion matters in the community. He says there’s been a lot of growth in the area, but there’s a need for more.
The block party runs from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Grisby says they’ll have speakers, musicians, and other local talent.
