The man charged with killing his two children in Kaukauna is pleading not guilty.
Matthew Beyer of Manitowoc was in Outagamie County court this morning. He’s accused of murdering five-year-old William Beyer and three-year-old Danielle Beyer in February.
Prosecutors say Beyer admitted to being in their mother’s duplex early in the morning, before the children were found dead. They say surveillance video also shows Beyer’s minivan leaving his home in Manitowoc, and being in Kaukauna, around the time of the murders.
Besides two counts of first-degree intentional homicide, Beyer is also charged with trying to escape from the Outagamie County jail in June.
