The state Department of Justice is releasing the names of two more officers that were on the scene of last Sunday’s police shooting in Kenosha.
Officer Vincent Arenas used a taser on Jacob Blake, and Officer Rusten Sheskey did too, but they didn’t work. Officer Brittany Meronek was also there.
Attorney General Josh Kaul was asked on ABC’s Good Morning America why he won’t confirm if officers knew that Blake had a knife. He says it’s an ongoing investigation, and they’re not commenting on facts that may be disputed.
A statement from the state justice department only says a knife was found on the floorboard of Blake’s SUV. It’s not known if he had it on him before the shooting.
