A half-mile extension of the CE Trail in Kaukauna is opening today.
Outagamie County Highway Engineer Joe Zellmer says they also put in flashing lights, similar to what’s in place by Lawrence University in downtown Appleton. They built a median, to help pedestrians cross the highway as well.
The trail now extends from Loderbauer Road to Haas Road.
The intersection of Highway CE and Loderbauer Road also reopened today.
