A Franciscan Friar from Appleton is accused of molesting boys in two states.
Paul West was extradited to Mississippi to face charges in connection with the reported sexual abuse of two cousins at a school in the 1990s.
West is also charged in Outagamie County with second-degree sexual assault of a child, after prosecutors say there was an incident with those boys, during summer trip to a home in Grand Chute.
The Catholic Church admitted that it paid settlements to several other victims of West, and that he was transferred to Wisconsin in the late 1990s. He became a teacher at St. John Nepomucene Catholic School in Little Chute.
