A vision by a Kaukauna-based company will help people with disabilities live more independently.
Seniors First Remodeling shared its plans for a Linked Living Home last year. Linked Living Homes are added on to an existing home, connected through a hallway, with their own outside entrance. Company owner Tom Cops says they work to customize each Linked Living Home as much as possible.
Mary Swifka calls the Linked Home built for her son the best of both worlds. She says it allows him to have his own space and still be close to the rest of the family.
