Undergraduate students at UW-Madison are being told to limit where they go over the next two weeks, because of a rising number of COVID-19 cases.
Chancellor Rebecca Blank is issuing the order. She’s also warning them if they don’t take action now, they may need to close the campus and switch to all online classes.
Students can only get take-out food from dining halls, and visitors aren’t allowed in dorms. All student gyms and recreational facilities are also shut down.
